During the NCCU women's basketball team's trip to Baltimore to play Coppin State
and Morgan State on Jan. 20, the Lady Eagles ventured to Washington, D.C., to visit the Pentagon Memorial and the new Martin
Luther King Jr. Memorial. The NCCU men's basketball team visited the Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial less than a week earlier
while in Washington, D.C., to play Howard.
